The Marker Alpinist 10 is the ultra-light and durable pin-tech binding for ski touring with a DIN scale between 4-10 (suitable for skiers between 40-70 kg). For heavier skiers we recommend Alpinist 12. It shares the same carbon reinforced toe part as Marker Kingpin 13 but has got a much nimbler and light-weight heel part, optimized for ski touring.
Alpinist 10 can only be used with touring boots and combined with either Alpinist Ski Stoppers or Alpinist Touring Leash. The stoppers need to be mounted together with the bindings and cannot be attached afterwards. Therefore, it is very important that you add the stoppers when purchasing the Alpinist 10. If you chose Marker Alpinist Touring Leash it be attached afterwards.
