Conditions of payment and shipping
This online store is owned and operated by Åre Skidfabrik AB, which is the owner of the Extrem brand.
When placing an order in our online store, we will send an order confirmation to the email address you have specified. This order confirmation also serves as confirmation on the purchase agreement between you and Åre Skidfabrik AB. Completed order also means that you as a customer accept these terms of purchase and delivery, and that the personal information you have provided is registered and saved in our business system. You can always request correction, extracts and that we delete your information from our register.
The colors you see on our products in the online store do not always reflect reality because colors are reproduced differently depending on monitors, mobile phones or tablets. We reserve the right of any errors on the website.
Prices
The prices in our online store are stated in SEK (for orders within Sweden) and EUR (for orders outside Sweden). All prices include Swedish VAT, currently 25%. For orders outside the EU, VAT is deducted from the price and the buyer is responsible for paying VAT and any customs duties on imports to his country.
We reserve the right of any errors in prices. In the event of an incorrect price, Åre Skidfabrik reserves the right to change this afterwards, but of course after asking you as a customer if you want to complete the purchase after adjustment. In addition to this, we also reserve the right to final sales, stock differences, technical problems and reserve the right to change product information and prices without prior notice.
Delivery
Åre Skidfabrik primarily uses UPS as a logistics partner for long packages (skis), but delivery can also take place with DHL or Schenker. As delivery points do not accept packages longer than 150 cm, long packages (skis) will always be delivered to the address you state in your order. Deliveries take place during the day and the carrier usually calls you before it is time for delivery. Smaller packages can sometimes be delivered to the logistics partner's delivery point where you pick up with normal package notification.
If you have specific wishes regarding your delivery, please contact us to be able to solve it in the best way. If you wish to book a specific delivery time, or change the delivery address, once the package has left Åre Skidfabrik, we ask you to contact logistics partners' customer service.
Delivery time within Sweden is usually 4-5 working days. For deliveries outside Sweden, it takes another few days. Should a product be temporarily sold out, the delivery time will be longer, but then we will contact you personally and inform you about this. You can track your package using logistics partners' tracking numbers. Since UPS does not use its own transport vehicles in northern Sweden, it can take 2-3 working days before you can track your package. We do not take financial responsibility for any delays depending on the shipping company.
Upon receipt of the package, we ask you to check that the package has any damage from delivery. If there is visible damage to the packaging, it must be written in the consignment note and verified by the driver, or at the delivery point. Feel free to document with a photo if possible. Should it then turn out that the content is damaged, we ask you to immediately report this to Åre Skidfabrik, so that we can help you in the best possible way. Should you discover hidden damage after receipt of the delivery, this must be reported to Åre Skidfabrik within five (5) working days of receipt. If you do not check the goods within these five days, the transport insurance does not apply and we can therefore not replace the goods because the transport company will not reimburse us.
In Europe, shipping is free for orders over 500 SEK / 50 EUR. Outside Europe, a shipping cost of 1000 SEK / 100 EUR is added, regardless of order value.
For packages that are not received, or picked up, we will charge a fee of 500 SEK / 50 EUR within Europe and 1000 SEK / 100 EUR outside Europe.
Right of withdrawal
We follow the “law on distance contracts” according to the Swedish Consumer Agency's recommendations. According to the Distance Contracts Act, you have the right to return ordered faultless goods, so-called "right of withdrawal". If you have chosen to mount a binding on your skis, the so-called "right of withdrawal" is not valid because the product is no longer considered "fault-free" with drilling holes from the binding.
If you wish to return your goods, we appreciate you contacting us as soon as possible regarding this. In order for the "right of withdrawal" to be valid, this must be done within 14 days of receipt of the goods. You as a customer must pay the return shipping to Åre Skidfabrik yourself and are also responsible for the risk with the return transport. Upon return to Åre Skidfabrik, the goods will undergo a receipt check to see that they are in the same condition as when they were originally sent from Åre Skidfabrik.
For refunds in connection with returns or complaints, your money will be refunded immediately (at the latest within 30 days) to your bank account number after Åre Skidfabrik has received the goods in return. The refund is made via Klarna, or we pay back to your VISA / Mastercard account if you have chosen this payment method. If you have chosen to pay by invoice, we recommend that you pay the invoice or contact Klarna to extend the payment period, to avoid the risk of unnecessary reminder fees. In the event of a return according to the "right of withdrawal", any shipping cost or return shipping cost will not be refunded.
Payment options
We offer payment with Klarna Checkout, which is offered in collaboration with Klarna AB. Klarna Checkout distinguishes between purchase and payment. First you confirm your purchase, then you choose how you want to pay. After identification and risk assessment, Klarna shows the payment options that can be offered to you. You can normally choose between Klarna invoice, Klarna account, card payment, Swish or direct payment via bank. By using Klarna Checkout, you accept Klarna AB's (556737-0431, Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm) terms.
When you complete a purchase via Klarna Checkout, you and Klarna enter into an agreement where Klarna, among other things, guarantees that you do not have to pay if you do not receive your goods. At the same time, Klarna reimburses the store for what you have bought and thus takes over the right to be paid. Whatever payment option you choose, Klarna is the one that handles the payment transaction while the actual purchase of the product or service is made directly by the store. Product or service-specific questions must therefore be directed to Åre Skidfabrik.
Complaint
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the purchase of the product. Complaints only apply to defects that can be traced to the actual manufacture of the product and not what is caused by normal wear and tear.
In the event of a complaint, we would appreciate if you contact us as soon as possible. We will then try to resolve the complaint remotely, by sending photos of the complained product, or by sending return shipping slips to be able to examine the product at Åre Skidfabrik. We need to see the purchase receipt and that the product is packed well in the event of return transport.
An approved complaint is handled by (1) the product being repaired, (2) the product being replaced by a new identical or equivalent product, (3) you receiving compensation in the form of money. Regardless of the above handling, Åre Skidfabrik intends to resolve the complaint promptly (within 30 days of us receiving the product in return). Information regarding the Swedish Consumer Purchase Act and the Distance Contracts Act can be found on the Swedish Consumer Agency's website. If a dispute arises, Åre Skidfabrik will follow the General Complaints Board's recommendations.
The Personal Data Act
Your personal data is handled in accordance with current provisions in the Personal Data Act (PUL).
Dispute
Any disputes are resolved primarily in discussion with us at Åre Skidfabrik. We follow the recommendations of the General Complaints Board and otherwise refer to the European Commission's online dispute resolution tool: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
