Adventurer, freerider, and inspirer Rebecka Eriksson has had skiing as an obvious part of her life since a young age. After a background in alpine skiing and mogul skiing, she discovered freeride skiing following a major knee injury – and a new freedom on the mountain.
With a strong passion for big mountains and development, Rebecka has, among other things, won the Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships and earned a wildcard spot in the Freeride World Tour. But for her, skiing is about more than performance – it's about community, experiences, and continuously evolving.
As one of the founders behind InspireUs, Rebecka has helped create a community that has inspired more girls to take part in action sports. Her commitment to women's skiing also led to the development of Mother Tree together with Extrem Skis – a ski created with inspiration from female riders and their way of experiencing the mountains. Today, this philosophy lives on through the Icon series.
Today, Rebecka works as a physiotherapist at Åre Ski High School and continues to combine her work with her passion for skiing, adventure, and inspiring the next generation of riders.
