The Marker Alpinist 12 touring binding is delivered without ski brakes or a leasch. Therefore, you need to purchase the Alpinist Brake separately. For safety on the mountain, we always recommend skiing with a leash or brakes. Tha brake needs to be mounted at the same time as the bindings, which is why we recommend that you buy them as a package.
